Fireproof

“The Psychology I studied in school didn’t heal me, God did.”, does this ring a bell?

Yeah, it sure does. Just a couple of days ago, I featured a story about a very handsome kid growing up with a lot of self-confidence. You know; the dark and handsome, smart and brilliant kinda confidence who, unfortunately, at the age of 10 experienced what changed his perception about life: he got burnt, an accident caused by a lantern at home.

Now, my thought is… I can only imagine how he’s managing the plenty thoughts running through his mind including questions springing from comments ‘conflicting’ with his idea of a good God.

Staying focused may be tough due to distractions he would be finding very challenging to avoid on daily basis but he must triumph. To do so, his focus must change from the physical beauty to the spiritual and stay there. The difficult question would always be for God Almighty: where were You Lord and why??

A pastor once asked if God gives you the answer to the “why”, will you be willing to accept it? I think his survival has a lot to do with FATE because a friend who inspired this thought, by the name Peter Tauna Martin lost a neighbour who had a similar experience but didn’t survive it.

Who you are is what must matter and not your skin colour, physique, height, scars, and whatever. None of the just listed would stop one from reading and researching or studying.

And just before I continue, I’m glad you picked up the pieces and moved on with your life. Heaven celebrates you.

Your survival keeps your name in the list of the “exodus” heading for greatness. So why should you or anyone who finds himself or herself rocking the same shoes have you did or still do think less of themselves when your brain, eyes, hands and legs can still function??

Happy to know that you are strong and a huge motivation to as many that has read your story. You’re such a great inspiration to our generation and your best is yet to come.

We encounter many storms in life as we strive each day to fulfil a destiny, but please remember: “Not all storms come to disrupt your life. Some come to clear your pathway. Sometimes you have to get knocked down lower than you have ever been, to stand back up taller than you ever were. Knockdown is not a knockout. The journey to the top is travelled by the brave. It’s not a peaceful adventure. You’re guaranteed to encounter obstacles on your way. However, don’t panic, embrace it, for it leads to victory.” – Kay Magnate

I’m glad you embraced yours and today we celebrate you. Your body can get burnt but protect your soul, IT’S NOT OVER YET!

As I close, I don’t know what horrible scene you’ve had to play a lead role too, but if it did happen, that’s because it was meant to happen, so rejoice because the play was staged to usher you into your divine destiny.
Glory!
