Many people may succeed or fail in life
because they either gave heed to or ignored and forgot about Prophecies given to them at various times and seasons of
their lives. God is a faithful Father and to several people, He sends word of
Prophecies to them through different means like dreams, spoken words by known
or unknown people that we meet in our journey in life, Ministers and Spiritual
leaders in places of worship, friends, family, relatives and even colleagues.
PROPHECY in simple terms
means to "foretell, predict, give a message or revelation from a divine source about the past, present or future.
GUIDANCE on the other
hand is the act of being led, directed, or instructed in a particular direction
by certain principles, thoughts or ideology.
A lot of people play
down or don't give importance to Prophecies given to them either personally or
through other sources. It's important to know that some of these Prophecies
could be negative as well as positive but thanks to God for our standing with
Him as Christians, we could plead our case and get positive results through the
rights we have in Christ as seen in this portion of the Bible "2KingsChapter 20". God is loving and merciful, He can create new destinies even
in hopeless situations, and we can trust Him with our lives.
Most times, I wonder
how many lives would change for the better if many would give attention to
words of Prophecies that have been presented concerning individuals, marriages,
families, organizations and even countries. Several people also have a part in
seeing to it that Prophecies about them become a reality especially when it's
positive or inspiring. Apostle Paul's admonition to Timothy in "1 Tim. 1:18" was a good example.
I trust that as a
result of this article, the Holy Ghost will bring to remembrance all the words
of Prophecies concerning several around the world and that they'll take
advantage of them to cause positive changes and results in lives and affairs in
Christ's gracious name Amen.
